Over 12,000 Palestinian children forcibly displaced amid Israeli raids on occupied West Bank
The operations involve violent home raids, damage to land, and demolition of key infrastructure. On Monday, Israeli forces issued a demolition notice for the family home of detainee Ahmed Abu al-Rubb in Qabatiya, giving the family just 72 hours to object. Rights groups have condemned these demolitions as collective punishment, with Al-Haq calling them war crimes and B’Tselem highlighting the toll on women, children, and the elderly.
The military raids were accompanied by mass arrests in Aida refugee camp near occupied Bethlehem, where at least 20 Palestinians were detained. Israeli settler violence has also escalated, with dozens of Israeli settlers seizing a Palestinian home in Silwan, occupied East Jerusalem, forcibly displacing 13 residents.
